RODINA Grand Hotel & SPA Irkutsk 5* is a luxury design hotel located in the heart of Irkutsk on the Angara River embankment, in the revived historical building of the Kurbatov and Rusanov Baths with unique architecture of the early 20th century. The RODINA Grand Hotel & SPA Irkutsk club format concept offers an exceptional level of comfort with the legendary RODINA brand service philosophy, capable of anticipating expectations and inspiring new exclusive trips to Lake Baikal.
The interior design of the RODINA Grand Hotel & SPA Irkutsk is presented in five styles at once, which guests can choose depending on their mood: Classic, Modern, Loft, Avant-garde and Scandinavia. In total, 104 rooms and apartments of seven categories are available for guests to stay – from cozy Superiors to a luxurious Presidential Suite with a fireplace and a fascinating view of the river. Each room is decorated using only natural materials.
BRIEF
In May 2024, RODINA Hotels turned to SEA Company for help in PR support for the opening of a new premium hotel located in the center of Irkutsk. The main objective of the PR campaign was not just to tell about the appearance of a new luxury hotel in the region, but to convey to the target audience the key message – now there is a place for premium holidays on Lake Baikal.
After the successful PR campaign for the opening of the RODINA Grand Hotel & SPA Irkutsk, the second joint project of RODINA Hotels and the SEA Company, on October 1, 2024, an agreement was signed to continue cooperation in the format of PR representative support in order to form a stable relationship between premium holidays on Lake Baikal and the RODINA brand among the target audience through the regular presence of the hotel in the information field of the federal glossy and business media, as well as bloggers and opinion leaders.
REALISATION
The SEA Company team already made the full press base of the hotel, including all image press releases, formed at the stage of the PR campaign for the opening of the hotel, so at the first stage of work PR representative began to form a short-term PR and advertising strategy until the end of 2024, including for the first months of 2025, including writing event press releases, promotion of the grand opening of the hotel, the placement of PR and advertising layouts, as well as preparations for the organization of the first press tour of the federal glossy and business media.

The hotel was included in the long list of the best hotels in Russia according to the annual all-Russian award WHERETOTRAVEL HOTELS AWARD 2024.

The 27 publications in the media were published, among which: Tier1 (federal media) – 15 (55%), Tier2 (regional media) – 1 (3.7%), Tier3 (industry media) – 11 (40.7%). The total AVE indicator was 60 000 USD, and the OTS indicator was 212.5 million people.
