Organization of a press tour with Russian journalists to Lake Baikal
RODINA Grand Hotel & SPA Irkutsk 5* is a luxury design hotel located in the heart of Irkutsk on the Angara River embankment, in the revived historical building of the Kurbatov and Rusanov Baths with unique architecture of the early 20th century. The interior design of the RODINA Grand Hotel & SPA Irkutsk is presented in five styles at once, which guests can choose depending on their mood: Classic, Modern, Loft, Avant-garde and Scandinavia. In total, 104 rooms and apartments of seven categories are available for guests to stay – from cozy Superiors to a luxurious Presidential Suite with a fireplace and a fascinating view of the river. Each room is decorated using only natural materials.
BRIEF
As part of the «PR Representative» package and in accordance with the approved annual PR strategy to promote premium holidays on Lake Baikal, a press tour was initiated with the participation of journalists from on-board, glossy and business media in February 2025. The purpose of the press tour was to present the possibilities of a new premium hotel for luxury trips to Lake Baikal via Irkutsk.
REALISATION
1. A list of media for the invitation has been prepared and agreed with the hotel. It included and was attended by Forbes Russia, RBC Style, Robb Report, Marie Claire, Men Today (ex. Men's Health Russia), S7, Aeroflot Premium. 2. The volume of PR support has been agreed upon based on the results of the press tour. 3. Full coordination of the press tour has been ensured: inviting journalists, buying tickets, accompanying participants 24/7. 4. All the information necessary for publications - press releases, photographs – has been prepared and provided to the participants of the press tour.
RESULT
1. The top officials of the leading Russian media took part in the press tour. 2. For the systematic and regular appearance of information about the hotel, the PR publication plan after the press tour was planned for the next 3 months. 3. Performance indicators: AVE at the end of the press tour amounted to more than 6.7 million rubles, the OTS index was more than 60 million people, and the cost of organization was less than 15% of AVE.
