REPRESENTATION OF THE RESORT AT THE INDUSTRY EXHIBITION
Barefoot at Havelock Resort is an exotic eco-resort nestled between the jungles of Havelock Island, part of the Andaman Islands, and a 2 km long beach, which in 2004 was voted the best beach in Asia by the Times magazine in 2004. The purest turquoise water, white sand and many untouched forests make this place truly one of the most beautiful on the planet.
In February 2019, hotel representatives turned to the SEA Company for help in organizing the effective participation of the resort in the Moscow International Tourism Exhibition (MITT).
PROBLEM
The most common difficulty in such remote resorts is the complete lack of information about B2B partners that could create a flow of tourists. For successful participation in the exhibition, it is necessary not only to participate in it, but also in advance, and most importantly, independently arrange meetings at the stand with relevant partners who have a business flow in your direction. This requires significant time and resources to prepare, especially if the hotel is in another region or country.

For many years, SEA Company has been successfully participating in all major international tourism exhibitions, where the company's clients have held more than 10,000 meetings, signed many contracts and created their own effective list of B2B partners. That's why Barefoot at Havelock Resort entrusted SEA Company with the overall management of the resort's participation in the MITT show, choosing the "Representation at Industry Shows" package.
IMPLEMENTATION
Marketers of SEA Company completely reformatted all the presentation materials of the resort, and also translated them into Russian, for further distribution at the exhibition among interested partners.
The sales department of SEA Company selected a list of operators, agencies and concierge clubs interested in exotic destinations for tourists. A schedule of meetings and presentations at the resort's own booth as part of MITT-2019 was drawn up and agreed upon.
The sales manager of SEA Company not only helped the hotel representatives to hold meetings, but also led some of them on his own in order to increase the sales funnel and, as a result, receive a large number of contracts.
RESULT
Thanks to pre-conducted market analytics, prepared presentation materials and a pre-agreed meeting schedule, every minute of the resort's participation in the exhibition was effectively occupied with meetings and negotiations. The total result for 3 days of participation consisted of 50 meetings and more than 150 interested contacts, with whom the hotel continued to communicate directly.
