In January 2020, SEA Company, specializing in PR and consulting services for hotels and destinations, has become the official representative of the
Slovenian tourism Council in Russia. The prime goal of SEA Company in 2020 is to promote Slovenia as the main gastronomic destination in Europe. The promotion strategy developed by SEA Company includes a combination of classic communication tools with modern technologies. This will raise awareness about the region, and as result will increase the share of Russian tourists in Slovenia.
In the first half of the year, group and individual
press tours for leading media are planned, active work and coverage of the country within the framework of the MITT exhibition will be organized (including a reception at the Embassy and a press conference), as well as writing and distributing a number of press releases. The theme of the country at MITT this year will be "Water of Health", dedicated to the resorts of Slovenia. In the second half of the year, TV stories will be shot together with the Federal TV channels, active work with opinion leaders and regular measurement of the country awareness index will be organized.
Slovenia is not the first region promoted by SEA Company. Before the company was promoting
Moscow and
Dresden cities.
