On 01 September 2017, at the State Central Museum of Contemporary History of Russia will held the solemn opening of the world's first CryptoArt exhibition organized by the Rudanovsky Foundation. The exhibition will run until September 10 and will present a qualitatively new stage in the development of art communications based on the works of contemporary artist Svetlana Smirnova.
In the upcoming exposition each picture is provided with an open digital certificate VerisArt based on the block technology. An important quality of this innovation is the grandiose prospects of open and transparent relations for museums, auction houses, galleries, collectors, art historians and researchers.
«I am grateful to the foundation and artist for the opportunity to become an exhibition partner, opening new prospects for our technology», says Robert Norton, the founder of VerisArt.
The uniqueness of the project lies in the revolutionary level of universal access to previously closed information. With blockchain it is impossible to destroy or falsify the primary detailed information about works of art, provenance, the history of displacement. This is the basis of security and transparency. Perhaps the exhibition of Svetlana Smirnova will be the first real example of reaching a new level of relationships for art communities around the world.
